A Pemberton Merchants Fair was held April 21, which attracted about 1,500 people. The merchants sold donated hot dogs, pop and balloons and asked people to make a donation to Rick Hansen. Participating merchants included Johnstone’s Appliances, Blue Water Pools, Book Case and Wall Unit shop, Jade Lawson Perfor- mance Car Stereos, Tilley’s En- durables, - Taylor Motive and Levett’s Auto Service. More..than 350 hot dogs, donated’ by Grimm’s Finest in Richmond, were sold. Gray Bever- age-donated the pop, the buns were donated by Buns Master and Nellie’s donated the condiments. ' The fair was such a success that merchants are planning another fund-raising event later this sum- mer.
