league, downed Vancouver Community College 3-1 on Saturday.

NORTH VANCOUVER Recre-
ation Centre employee Ina Dulure
won gold and silver medals at the
American Masters Rowing Cham-
pionship held in Seattle Sept. 13
and 14.

Dulure, 38, picked up a gold in
the women’s 38 and over and took
the silver medal in the women’s 27
and over categories.

The championship was hosted
by the Long Beach Rowing Club.

year-old Sonya Jeyaseelan and
Under 16 National champion
Fabio Walker were big winners at
the recent North Shore Winter
Club Junior Tennis Championship
tournament.

The finals were held at the club
on Sept. 14.

Jeyaseelan won the Under-14
and Under-12 championships
defeating her opponents in straight
sets.

Walker, a Grade 11) Carson

go three sets to decide his Under-
18 championship.
