Bradner Flower Show to feature daffodil varieties ANOTHER YEAR has flown by and, once again, the time has come to re- mind you of the annual Bradner Flower Show. The theme for the flower show will concentrate on Lower Mainland indigenous people and the official opening will be on Saturday, April 17 at 2 p.m. As always, the focus will be on the many varieties of daffodils grown in the area — some 400 different blooms will be on display. There will also be displays from other growers, including orchids and geraniums. Bradner is easily reached from all directions and signs are posted on all routes for visitors’ conve- nience. . Admission is still $i and the tea room will be well stocked with sandwiches, cakes and other goodies,’ all made by community volunteers, Supper is served Friday and Saturday evenings from 5 to 7 p.m, All of the proceeds from the show go towards local community projects. The dates and times for the 1993 show will be: Friday, April 16: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday, April 17: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Sunday, April 18: p.m. Early mornings and evenings are usually less busy and bus tours are welcome.
