The race was only postponed, not cancelled Originally scheduled for June 1,

the third annual North Shore News Sailing Race will now be held on Sunday, June
15

The course to be satied 1s from the starting line al Dundaruve Pior to a red
marker (leave to port) set 1/2 mile WSW off Point Atkinson Lighthouse, then to
the Point Grey Bell Buoy (leave to port). then to a red marker (leave to starboard)

O 7 miles South of the centre channel marker, finishing at the Committee Boat off
Kitsilano Yacht Club

All vessets should report to the Committee Boat between 9 30 and 10 00am
No spinnakers or Dlaopers allowed

Boats finishing should sail close by the Committee Boat, which will be anchored
3/4 mile N W off the Kitstano Yacht Club

The race will end officially at 1500 hours and any boats not across the finish
ine by that time should rendevous at Granvillo Island Market tor transportation to
Boaters’ Village tor ceremonies, refreshments and food

If you were not entered in the scheduled June T race, you can still enter.
Cruising sailboats only, please.
