HALL OF FAME ... The B.C. Sports Hall of Fame ha
Announced a fist of inductees to be honoured in this year’s ban-
quet of charapions on Tuesday April 27 at the Hotel Vancouver.
Among the inductees announced today, News columnist fim
Keamey heads up the list in the media category. Other North
Shore notables include tennis player Grant Connell in the ath-
letics category while the 1936 North Shore Indians lacrosse
team will be inducted in the pioneer category. The B.C. Sports
Hall of Fame and Museum is located at BC Place stadium and
honours the province's outstanding athletes, teams, builders
and media.

VOLLEYBALL ... Capilano College will be hosting the B.C.
Colleges’ Athletic Association provincial vollevball: champi-
onships starting on Thursday, Feb. 18. The three-day tourna-
ment will feature B.C.’s top six men’s and women’s teams play-
ing 1+ matches to determine the eventual champion. For more

BOXING ... If the professional ranks have the average boxing
fan down on the sport, there’s nothing like an evening of ama-
teur action to revive the spirit of pugilism, The Champlain
Heights Boxing Club is presenting just tha: ar 7 p.m. this
