The Ministry of Transportation and Highways in
the Howe Sound District is compiling its Hired
Equipment List anc advises all persons or Com-
panies wishing to have their rentabie equipment
such as trucks, backhoes, loaders, excavators,
graders, rollers, scrapers or tractors listed, that
they should contact the Howe Sound District Of-
fice at 1690 Main Street, North Vancouver, B.C.
V7J 1&3 (Phone: 987-9311).

Previously listed equipment must be
reregistered.

Current poticy will net permit the hiring of equip-
ment that is not registered with the Ministry. This
Ministry will be hiring local equipment (where
available} for projects in their area.

Deadline for registration in the District is
March 19, 1992.

Applications received after this date will be
recorded in a late registrations list, and conse-
quently may net receive a share of the available

REZONING BYLAW

The Council for The Corporation of the District of
North Vancouver will hold a Public Hearing under the
provisicns of the Municipal Act in the Council
Chamber of the Municipai Hall, 355 West Queens
Rowd, North Vancouver, 8.C. on Tuesday, March 10,
199.2 following the Public Hearings in respect of
Bylaws 6427, 6431, 6432 and 6433 commencing at
7:00 p.m. to ‘consider the following:

BYLAW 6422 “Rezoning Bylaw 932”
Applicant: The Corporation of the District of
North Vancouver.

Proposed To amend the Zoning Bylaw TEXT

Text by deleting regulations dealing with

Amendment: non-conforming uses, buildings and
structures.

To avoid redundant regulations and
inconsistency between the Zoning
Bylaw and the Municipal Act.
Regulations dealing with non-
conformity are contained in the
Municipal Act and therefore do not
require repetition in the Zoning
Bylaw.

Copies of the Bylaw, resolutions, supporting staff
reports and any relevant background documentation
may be inspected at the Municipal Hall Monday
through Friday, except Statutory Holidays, February
26 to March 10, 1992 inclusive, between the hours
of 8°30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Information is also
available at the District Libraries.

All persons who believe their interest in property may
be affected by the above prop7sal shali be afforded
an opportunity te be heard ay the Public Hearing.
