Sunday, March 17, 1991 - North Shore News - 31 Joy Metcalfe es JOY TELLS ALL JUST LEARNED some very upsetting news about longtime North Shore resi- dent and veteran journalist, Cloudesley S.Q. Hoodspith. Cloudesley has been involved in newspaper ownership and col- umn-writing for as long as | can remember. He was the owner and publisher of the Lions Gate Times and he wrote 2 newsy column in the old Citizen, but his base of operations right now is Squamish-Whistler where he publishes The Citizen. He had to be cut out of the car by the Ja‘vs of Life. Since that time, he has been in intensive care in Lions Gate Hospital. His injuries were severe and his family is hoping and praying that he’ll recover very soon. We all do! The good news is he is beginning to recover and is now able to have visitors. I really miss that cheeky, irreverent, kooky little guy!
