season-long hold on top spot to
capture the top spot in recent
playoff action of the North Shore
Joe Shea League.

Eventual second-place winner
Blue Jays made things interesting
by having the bases loaded while
trailing 10-7 in the last inning of
the game.

Cypress Park finished in third
spot, but not before making
Edgemont nervous with an early
8-0 lead before the eventual win-
ners rallied to victory.

The North Shore district tour-
nament is set for July 16 at
Ambleside Park with all-star teams
vying for a chance to compete in
the upcoming provincials.

Tournament action begins at 1
pan. July 16 and winds up on July
20.

Spectators are encouraged to
come out and cheer their favorite
teams.

The winning team will qualify to
compete in the Provincial Joe Shea
Championships July 26 to Aug. 2,
