Eventual second-place winner Blue Jays made things interesting by having the bases loaded while trailing 10-7 in the last inning of the game. Cypress Park finished in third spot, but not before making Edgemont nervous with an early 8-0 lead before the eventual win- ners rallied to victory. The North Shore district tour- nament is set for July 16 at Ambleside Park with all-star teams vying for a chance to compete in the upcoming provincials. Tournament action begins at 1 pan. July 16 and winds up on July 20. Spectators are encouraged to come out and cheer their favorite teams.
