Designed by architect Doug Wong, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hanzlick is a West Coast contemporary with many luxury touches that make this home a special one. A large home with 3,750 sq.ft., the rear of the house is surrounded by forest and the sounds of the river at the bot- tom of the canyon below can be heard. The living room fireplace facing is white cameo stone with a Calcutta marble hearth and a built-in wood- box. The main floor area is wallpapered with imported grasscioth. Carpets are made by Custom Weave of Califor- nia with a 4’’ underlay. Off the living room is a cozy conversation pit with the forest view and built-in bookcases. There is also a beamed ceiling of redwood and built-in seating. The kitchen has oak cabinetry and an oak beamed ceiling manufactured and in- stalled by Pandolfo cabinets. The vanities for the bathrooms are also Pan- dolfo. The baths, except for the basement bath, have foil wallpaper. The ensuite bathroom wallpaper is silk. Some of the other features are a dressing room off the master bedroom, a pantry, lots of closets, a large formal! dining room, a _heatilator fireplace in the recreation room, and a 5-zone gas-fired hot water healing system
