The North Shore Stroke Recovery Centre is the gathering place for peaple who have had a stroke. Their vilic welcome too. Meetings take place three times include everything from speech maintenance, iscs and mind-challen ing games, to crafts and carpet bowling. The graup recently enjoyed a luncheon excursion to Horseshoe Bay. All conditions seemed perteer: a bright sunny day with agente breeze, and a fine collection of folks ready to have a eice time, It was particularly nice for North Van's Avery Martn, who passed away a few days later. His wife June accompanied him on the trip. Tt was a precious time for the two. An angel must have been aboard that bus.
