THE North Shore
Recycling Program has
epened a staffed, multi-
material recycling drop-
off depot — a first for
the North Shore.

The North Shore
Recycling Drop-off Depot is
located ee the. south foot of
Riverside Drive in North
Vancouver, east of the Second
Narrows Bridge.

North Shore residents and
small businesses can now drop
off their junk mail, corrugated
cardboard, rigid plastic bortles
and tubs, magazines, and
tore at the new centre.

The drop-off depot is
staffed to answer recycling:
related questions and to
ensure material is recyclable
before it is placed in the bins.

The foundation of the site
is made from recycled North
Shore streets, the perimeter is
made from ceeveled concrete
highway dividers reclaimed
from the Upper Levels
Highway Wesrview _ inter-
change, and recycled paint was
used to paint the wood mate-
rials used on site.

The new drop-off depot is
open seven days a week from 8
am. to 5 p.m. Monday to
Thursday, and from § a.m. to
6 p.m. Friday to Sunday.
