Do you have an antique or collectible car in your life? That
is a hard question to answer, especially in this province.
BCAA Classifies a 15 year old vehicle as “vintage”, and a 20
year old as antique. Customs Canada will,not collect duty
on a vehicle 25 years or older, and the Motor Vehicle
Branch calls it at 30 years. Still, if you have a deep and
abiding love for your 1971 Datsun, there is nothing to stop
you from sinking $1,000 worth of restoration work into it -

it means just as much to you as a 1935 Caddy would to
someone else.

Whatever the car you drive, remember, please, that even if
you come in to have a single rust spot removed, or a piece
of chrome replaced, if you do it by January 31st, 1983, you
are eligible to win. You don't ‘have to have a major accident
to benefit from the Crash Pad windfall.

You will, upon winning, be required to answer a skill-testing
question. And. you will be required to use your prize by July
1, 1983. That should give you ample time to decide what .
you want done.

Even if you don’t want something fixed, drop in anyway —
we love to drink coffee and talk cars .... it is our business
after all. And please don’t make yourself eligible by careless
driving — if you want to enter that bad, come and talk to
