“Workshop in a Day” which _

I'm ‘sure you've already
circled on your calendars—
namely April 7, here are a
few teasers of what you ‘can
expect: .

“Thoroughbred Horse

Racing” usually draws 4 full

class, so I would think pre-
registration would be a very
good idea here.

“Duplicate Bridge” will be
conducted only from 9 to 1,
and a tournament will be

_arranged depending on the
number of registrations.

“Amateur Ham Radio” -

will include a demonstration
of equipment, and a com-
prehensive look into the
whole area of this world-
wide, amateur hobby. As
with so many of your night
school courses, this is an

opportunity it would be hard °

to get elsewhere. and so
reasonably.

“Candle-Making” is back

again. Perhaps it’s felt you'll
have used up all the candles
you made the last time round

so it’s time for new ones. .

Also there are probably new
and exotic ways to. use that
wax and it should be a nice
relaxing way to spend a.
Saturday.

“Gardening on the North
Shore” will be a wonderful
way to “think spring”. Come
with all your questions and
maybe suggestions you can
share, in this tailored-to-you
course.

Now for something new
and potentially exciting—a
“Glass-Blowing Demon-
stration” and a do-it-yourself
workshop along with it.
What a grand way to get
involved in something en-
tirely different—at least, I
don't imagine too many of
you are adept at the art!
Come on out and see if you'd
like to be.

Some of the courses you
take through Night School's
three seasons will just be
pleasant evenings spent for
relaxation and to relieve
boredom. But some will

bring you. skills) or

forget.
