Extra ferry sailings available

BC Ferries has extra sailings lined
up for the holiday weckend.

Extra sailings have been scheduled berween
Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen, from Swartz Bay
to Fulford Harbour and between Departure
Bay and Horseshoe Bay. During the weekend,
BC Ferries will operate two conventional ves-
sels on the Departure Bay-Horseshoe Bay
route, with a PacifiCat operating on a supple-
mentary basis.

The main berth at Langdaie — undergoing
Wingwall repairs and seismic upgrading — will
also temporarily re-open on April 20.

BC Ferries recommends passengers consid-
er opuons like taking a bus, carpooling or

making a vehicle reservation on the major
routes (1-888-724-5223). Customers can also
plan trips in advance. Scheduling information
is avatlable on BC Ferries’ Web site
(wow. beterries.be.ca) and information line (2-
$888-BC-FERRY) 24 hours a day. Passenger
service agents can be reached on the informa-
tion line from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a
week.
