West Vancouver, and Dave, son of John and Jeannette

of Burnaby, are celebrating their first anniversary today,

May 18. They were married at St. David's United Church,

with a reception following at Capilano Golf and Country

Club. The couple now resides in Vancouver. Happy first
anniversary!

Roy and Jean Pauison of West Vancouver recently cel-
ebrated 40 years of marriage on April 25. They were mar-
ried in 1957 at Ruth Morton Memorial Baptist Church in
Vancouver, and moved to West Vancouver in 1965. The
Paulsons have three children, Loretta, Nadine and Julie,
and six grandchildren. The family celebrated with a din-
ner at Griffins in the Hotel Vancouver. Congratulations!

Mae and Gordon Shugg
Longtime North Shore residents Mae (née Munro) and
Gordon Shugg celebrated their golden wedding

anniversary on May 10 at the North Vancouver home of
their younger son Glenn. Attending the festivities were

their three children, seven grandchildren, relatives and ww.

friends. The couple was married in 1947 at Christ Church
Cathedral in Vancouver.

Mary and Gerry Holbrook
Gerry and Mary Holbrook celebrated 19 years of mar-
riage on May 5. Both are longtime residents of North
Vancouver. Gerry is looking forward to retirement at the
