McCammon had coached the team for 3 1/2 seasons and leaves the job with 102 wins, 155 losses and 36 ties. Chalmers was charged under the waste management act following an investigation by the environ- ment ministry into the disposal of gyprock from house construction on Bowen Island. According to conservation of- ftcer Fred Barnes, Chalmers dug a hole and buried gyprock from a house he was building on Bowen Island. ‘*We’re concerned because the gyprock breaks up and gets into the water system,’’ Barnes said.
