Railway Co. recorded a profit of $51.3 million in 1987, compared with $53.4 million the previous year. Its operating subsidiary, BC Rail, had revenues of $321.8 mil- lion, which was up from $313.4 million in 1986. The expenses of Canada's third largest railway rose from $229.4 million to $238.1 mil- lion over the same period.
