It's deja vu for Lynn Valley

Almost one year later to
the day, the Lynn Valley
Falcons defeated Surrey
United again to move into
the B.C. Youth Soccer
Association Coast Division
finals.

The weekend win by the
under-12 boys was a cliff-
hanger. the score tied 1-1 at
the end of regulation time on
a goal by Steve Perry. But
Jack Went came through in
overtime to give the Lynn
Valley lads a 2-1 victory to
savor.

Making it four times in
five years to the finals is the
Under-15 Falcon squad, who
also won their weekend
match. Scott Bennett evened
out the score to dne-all at
the end of regular play, and
two overtimes didn't change
the tally. The Falcons were
handed the win on corner
kicks, trouncing Victoria
Gorge 12-1.

The big day for both teams
comes on April 23 at the Sun
Tournament of Champions.
Stay tuned for time and
place.

In regular league play, the
games were few and far
between with most squads
still settling the make up
matches. Results follow:
