We own a 1998 € van vith a. six cylinder, 4 a Htre vortex. engine. The mileage is 29,000 km. The warranty is three years or $6,000 km. There is a distinct ratte in the engine between 40 and 60 km per hour when the motor is warm and rhe vehicle is accel- erating oF going uph . Ti d ment has noise of 1° problem at all, bur the noise ts real. We are concerned that it may be leading to a more serious problem once it is out of the warranty period. Do you know of any problems with respect to this engine? We wi ould be grateful for any information. We should also say that apart from this problem the van has been great and virtually problem free.
