teacher, passed away on September

children Antheny (Janice) and
Aurelia (Randy) DesRochers; and
grandchildren Andrew, Gallia and
Daniel Porter, and Shane
DesRochers; four’ sisters and
brothers-in-law. Norma was born in
North Vancouver and tived her tile
there. Her parents were pioneers in
this city, owning the St. Alice Hote}.
As a musicisn, Norma excelled,
winning prizes and — scholarships
since early childhood. She played in
Curope and British Columbia as a
concert pianist. She and a group of
notable citizens of North Vancouver
initiated the North Shore Communi-
ty Concerts Association. Prayers were
held at Holy Trinity Catholic Chutch,
27th & Lonsdale, North Vancouver,
B.C. at 7:30 p.m. on Monday,
September 16 and mass was held at
10:30 a.m. on September 17, by Fa-
