signed an agreement to teach
“‘miliions of Soviet citizens’’ the
Transcendental Meditation (TM)
technique and have established
T™ centres in Mescow and
Armenia.

effects of the TM technique and
its impact in Russia and around

ITC CLUB DINNER EVENT

Public speakers compete

HOLLYBURN ITC Club (formerly Toastmistress) is
holding its annual speech contest at Cheers Restau-
rant, [25 E. 2nd St., North Vancouver, on Feb. 28
starting at 7 p.m.

‘This is a dinner club and will feature six speakers in
the contest who are members of the club.

Cost of the evening is $10 which includes a meal.

The winner of this contest will go on to the city-
wide contest, and that contest winner will go on to
regional level.
