NOTICE is hereby given by the City of North Vancouver, pursuant to Section 957
of the Municipa! Act of British Columbia, that a Public Hearing will be held on
OCTOBER 5, 1987 AT 7:30 PM. in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 141 West 14th
Street, North Vancouver, B.C. to receive representations in connection with the
following proposed amendments to the “Zoning By-law, 1967", and the “Zoning

Map of the City of North Vancouver”,

The amending by-laws will regulate the permitted uses, the size, shape and siting
of buildings and structures, off-street parking requirements, the location and screen-
ing of refuse containers, the maintenance of landscaping, and will control the height
of structures, landscaping material and landscape screens bounded by the intersec-
ting lines of a driveway and a lane. The proposed by-laws will limit the lot coverage,
height, setbacks and gross floor area of the principal buildings, and, in the case
of By-law No. 5836, provision has been made to permit a greater percentage of
small car stalls, separation between habitable room windows and setbacks of prin-

cipal buildings.

ALL PERSONS who believe that their interest in property is affected by the pro-
posed by-law shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard — in person,
by attorney, or by petition.

COPIES of the proposed amending by-laws and pertinent staff reports may be in-
spected at the office of the City Clerk between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday
