back so soon, on the Sun-
day, was that the plate of
sashimi 1 had bought the day
before from the Japanese
food outlet called
‘Musashi’? was so good I
just had to have another.

1 knew the first one was
fresh, a cardinal condition
of this raw-fish-and-rice del-

icacy, because 1 had watched

it being made. I missed Sun-
day’s preparation, but the
product was equally good.

salmon and halibut, all of it
cradling a lump of rice filled
with hot green wasabi that
the Japanese favor, with
some sliced pickled ginger.
