No intelligent person who had made a legitimate at-, tempt--to discern the truth could make such ignorant statements. / I am in my eleventh year of teaching in North Van- couver, I am_ currently working an average of about 45 hours per week and have, at other times, worked considerably longer hours. About half my working time is spent under the most demanding conditions, in a classroom with about 30 students. The rest of my work day is spend doing the following: planning lessons (“lectures” you called them - you certainly are. out of touch); marking papers; making phone calls, or meeting —in . person with parents — to discuss. progress; their children’s helping students with studies at noon hour or after school; writing reports; - attending department Thanks for career Dear Editor: Recently the. students from Keith Lynn Alternative Secondary School (KLASS), were involved in a “Careers Day’’ activity. Ap- proximately one hundred Students spent one whole day “on the job” gaining valuable experiences which is not normally available to students in school.
