Grants awarded

NORTH = VANCOUVER
District Council passed a pro-
visional 1994 community
grants budget recently which
included awards of over
$170,000 to local non-profit
service groups, and provision
for an extra $9,000 in later
funding.

The largest funding grant
went to the Family Services of
the North Shore. The organi-
zation received $32,000.

The North Shore Crisis
Services Society was awarded
$20,000.
