Dedication ceremony

NVD MAYOR Murray Dykeman and Diana Belhouse unveiled a
new plaque and cairn to commemorate the official dedication of
Lynan Canyon Park. The event was designed to recapture the
spirit of the original ceremony which occurred on Sept. 14,

1912

main installation. Road closed and
detour in effect.

@ Ministry of Highways:

Cassiar St.: Expect detours at
Highway 1 and Cassiar St. and at
Cassiar St. and Hastings St. due

to construction of the Cassiar
Connector. Motorists are urged to
use detour routes or to expect
delays. Adanac Street on the west
side of Cassiar will be closed until
Dec. 31.

Squamish Highway: The highway
will be closed today from 10 a.m.
to 12:30 p.m. 25 kilometres north
of Horseshoe Bay at Porteau
Bluffs. Motorists are reminded to
use good winter tires, carry chains
