Businesswomen make donations

FOOD FOR the North Shore Food Bank and gilts
for the drop-i in cenire of the Canadian Menial Health
Association are being donated by the members of the
North SSore Rusiness and Professional Women’s
Club at their December dinner meeting.

Also, a presentation of gifts will be made to the
executive director Pamela Atmikos for the Emily
Murphy House.

The Business and Professional Women's Club fas
been an active club on the North Shore for nearly 40

sears, The club's main thrust as lobbying the gov

ermuent, both provincial and federal, for women’s
issues, as well as raising funds for bursaries at
Capilano College for women re-entering the work
force and support of the Emily Murphy House.

Moothly dinner meetings are held on the first
Wednesday of every month at the Avaton Hotel on
Marine Drive at 6 p.m.
