EXPLORE THE world of science
at two workshops offered by the
West Vancouver Recreation Cen-
tre.

Mini Circuits, for children age
10 to 12 years, will teach basic
fundamentals of electronics in-
cluding transistors, resistors and
LEDs. Each child will learn to

solder, using basic techniques and
then will create and take home a
LED flasher.

The program happens on Satur-
day, Feb. 25 from | to 4 p.m. Cost
is $4N which includes all supplies.

Young Scientists, for children
age 8 to 10 years, will explore the
world of physics and chemistry by
conducting a number of experi-
ments. Participants will take home
many projects and will also receive
a workbook of other projects.

The workshop takes place
Saturday, March 4 from 1 to 4
p.m. Cost is $38 and pre-registra-
tion is necessary.
