Kokanees

Kokanee ‘:: on for a 3-2 win
over Alemanix: in the second round
of Metros Men’s Cup Soccer ac-
tion.

Kokanee started the game with
just. 10 men, but fought their way
to a 3-0 lead before Alemania
made a late charge with two goals
as the Kokanee legs started to
fade.

Italian striker Reberto Chiesa
gave Kokanee an early lead, draw-
ing a foul in the penalty area, and
then driving home the goal from
the penalty spot.

In the second half Peter ‘Doc’
Segato made it 2-0 on a breakaway
tally, with midfielder Brian Den-
neby picking the top corner for the
winning goal. The late rally for
Alemania was engineered by two
goais from Feny Hamilton.
