tion. | am one of those on the side
of the eagles and from what I sec

around the arca in question there
are plenty of attractive, established
houses for sale, with delightful

“gardens and surroundings, and no

need at all to destroy ancient trees

and nesting sites for cagles and
similar wildlife. We should be so
grateful to have the chance to en-
courage them to breed in our area.

cil is leaning in favor of an ap-
plication to allow 33-foot lots in
the upper Mahon Ave. area that
currently has no 33-feot lots —
completely opposite to the recom-
mendations of the planning
department.

letter.in the Jan. 22 issue:

JT personally do not feel that Dr.
Ruth’s articles are ‘‘trashy ‘and
disgusting’’. Some of the issues |
find a bit offensive and risque, but
