Cruisers Summer Swim Club
is off to a good start for the
1984 season. Returning Head
Coach Craig McCord and
Frank Barrieau, Assistant
Coach, are well pleased with

the returning swimmers and
some New emerging talent in
the club.

Last weekend, the Cruisers
travelled to Richmond for an
invitational B Meet where a
number of swimmers placed

high in the standings.

In Division | Girls, Jac-
queline Hicks placed Ist in
the 50 free and 50 back with a
3rd in the 50 breast with
Christine Scheuermeyer tak-
ing 4th in both 50 fly and 50

back.

200m medley. 200 m freestyle

and Div. 4 girls and Div. 5
boys both won 3rd place.

June 9 Coquitlam B meet in-
cluded the following:

Division 1, Jacqueline

Scheuermeyer took 2nd in the

fly. Division 3 boys had
outstanding performances
with David Reid winning
both the 50 free and 100 In-
dividual Medley; Sanjay
Srivastava had a 2nd in the
100 1.M. with a 4th in the 50
fly and Sth in the 50 free;
Guy Leggatt placed 4th in the
100 I.M., 6th in the 50 free
and 8th in the 50-back.

Sabina Wodak won both
the 50 free and 100 1.M. in
Division 3.
