of the league, the Toronto
Argonauts, are starting to
show ‘gradual, but steady
turnaround.’

Because of the size and
geographical location of the
Argonauts, they have

become the key city to the
success of the league, and
while they did not set the
league on fire from the field
last year, the acquisition of
Ralph Sazio, the astute
former general manager of
Hamilton Tiger-cats, is
expected to help the Argos
regain some respect on the
field, which in turn, can only
help the league.

Edmonton receiving a
rougher ride than '81.

far eastern club has a

The next six months will
be the critical period for the
Halifax group to come up

Higgin’s mind that the ad-
dition of the club would add
excitement, even though it
would certainly add to travel
costs.

The league situation
entering the 1982 season can
be summed up by saying that
it’s looking pretty good.

More stable management
across the board, coupled
with what appear to be more
competitive teams should

make for a good year in the
C.F.L.

cornerback during the "82 campaign.
