SILENT MAJORITY The ‘glamor’ of mayoralty elections was demonstrated Once again by the increased voter turnout, which reached. almost 38 per cent in West "Mayor ' works out at only a little over Vancouver ‘and over 3L per cent in North Van District (as against 27 per cence and 16 per cent respectively last - year).
