Occasionally Margo had as

. many as 20 patients a week, at

$65 an hour: “But it was too hard
to do the counselling, and run and
build up the business all myself.”
So this past July. when Margo
heard her old job was available,
she went back. Now she sees
patients one or two nights a week.
Said Tom: “Trust is important.
Even though the money didn’t

work out, | tried to support Margo

and be part of her dream.”

Margo added: “It’s my — our |
— dream to have my private prac-
tice, just as it’s our dream to have
our home and children one day.

“This past year [ also learned
it’s Tom's drean to make me
happy and support me. Even when
he knew it wasn’t the best thing
financially, he stood back to let
me learn myself.” ”

With the help of family and
friends, Tom has been renovating”
the small bungalow the couple
bought, thanks to a loan co-signed
by Margo’s dad.

“It’s up for sale and now we're 4

looking for a bigger place to get
ready for kids in about three
years,” Tom said. :

“Ideally our new house will
have the potential for me to fix up
a rental suite.”
