This van had served as the detachment’s prisoner wagon and now has a new role with the gener- al investigation section. This ts perhaps the first vehicle in Canada that is used as a police fire scene investigation vehicle. Members of the RCMP general investigation unit work with the fire prevention officers of city and district fire departments in the investigation of suspicious fires. This is a cooperative effort and a team approach is used to enhance the combined background and expertise in fire investigation. The North Vancouver RCMP would like to thank Regal Collision, OK Tire, Trim Line or { Bs RCMP Cpl. Gene Siobod Design and White's Automotive for their contribution to the revital- ization of this: vehicle.
