Since Buz couldn't attend, George Piper, his right hand man filled in admirably. He even came up with a chocolate birthday cake for me! Let me tell you, for once the eastern press isn’t exaggerating. Shirley’s Out There Tonight is outstanding. She sings! She dances! She entrances! The air was alive with electricity. The jam-packed audiences in the Or- pheum simply loved her. In fact, they gathered at the backstage door on Seymour COCKTAILS Street, tying up heavy traffic, and sang *‘Inca-dinca-do"’ until she came out!... Pm told that some of those who have dropped by to pay homage this week to the lady with the great legs were John Travolta, Kirsty Alley and husband Parker Stevenson.
