And with two jazz bands, four concert bands, an orchestra and choir, there's plenty of opportuni- ty for Handsworth students to become involved in music. Z7th St., is presenting a Spring FI- ing on Tuesday, March 28 at 10:30 a.m. Children aged three to five are invited for a puppet show to celebrate the spring. Ona Thursday, March 30 at 10:30 a.m., four to seven year olds can let off steam at Hoedown! -—- an entertainment from down on the farm with puppets and stories. The Capilano Branch, located at 3045 Highland Bivd., will feature a special program for young book- lovers. On Tuesday, March 28 at 2 p.in. children are invited to bring any books of their own that they have read-out, worn-out or just out-grown, and exchange them for other children’s favorites. Hard- backs, paperbacks and comic books are all welcome. The children’s librarian will be super- visor and arbitrator. On Thursday, March 30 at 2 p.m. Capilano Library presents Spring Froiics, a special storytime extravagenza for ages three and up. There is no charge for children’s library programs, and pre-registra- tion is not required for spring break events.
