A CORONER'S inquest examining the circumstances surrounding
the Aug. 4 death of 30-year-old North Vancouver motorcyclist
Brian Allinson {s expected to wrap up today.

After weighing the evidence provided by witnesses of the acci-
dent in which Allinson was struck by a car at the intersection of
Fourth Street and St. Andrews Avenue in North Vancouver, the

" inquest jury:is expected to reach a decision regarding the category -

_ of death and present any further recommendations if applicable. ° .

held at bridge

Bridge will be holding its
Christmas Festival Dec. 6 with free
admission to visitors who make a
donation of two items to the Food
Bank.

The suspension bridge park will

be decorated with thousands of

lights and there will be free bever-
ages, carols and a bridge lighting
ceremony al 4 p.m.

“This is the third year we've
done this (collect donations for the
Food Bank),”’ said manager Mardi
Foster. ‘‘We always start off with
a festival with all sorts of things
going on.’”

Carver Stan Joseph wil demon-
strate native carving and members
of the Bach choir will be on hand
to lead festival-goers in singing
Christmas carols.

Santa Claus will also be visiting
the festival, and there will be free
gifts and prizes.

Admission to the Capilano
Suspension Bridge is free with a
donation to the Food Bank of two
non-perishable food items until
Dec. 24.
