By STEPHEN BARRINGTON Mews Reporter Three North Vancouver youngsters, connected through their work with Ramona Beauchamp International modell- ing agency, are making inroads in the high-pressure world of acting and modelling, lending a new meaning to the tern, charismatic kids. Seven-year-old Lisa Caruk, a bionde-haired charmer with a dazzling smile, began her career three years ago when she won a modelling contest hosted by The Bay. From there, her credits have grovn to include a spot in the Vancouver-filmed movie The Boy Who Could Fly and the Emmy award-winning TV show Love is Never Silent. With stars in her eyes, Lisa knows what she wants. “I want to g0 to Hollywood and be in the movies."’ says the three-year veteran of the modelling industry. Pizza lovers on the North Shore have likely seen 10-year-old Sarah Chalke in a promotional brochure for a focal eatery. “7 wasn't too nervous but FT wasn't that calm either,’” the Cleveland Elementary School student confesses easily. Part of a family of four in the advertisement, the local youth had the tasty task of eating pizza while a photographer snapped — and the pizza was good.
