League (NSSIMHL) action.

Bob Hodgson scored twice and Bill McQuay added three assists in

leading the Bucs to victory.

Going into the game on top of the league, the Bucs’ victory assures

’ them of a first-place finish.
The Hustlers, on the other hand, are locked in a batt
NSSIMHL playoff position.

In other action, Bert’s Drillers demolished Global West Wholesale

Flyers 19-4.
Brian Ewing scored five times for Bert's. Tim Bytella

But the Flyers flapped back the next night, tying the Blues 3-3.

Mike Powrie scored twice for the Flyers. Brad Sharp replied with two
for the Blues.

The NSSIMHL playoff format will feature a best two out of three
semi-final series, followed by a round-robin match-up hetween the re-
maining three teams and a best of five series for the championship.

The playoffs will begin March 20 at the North Vancouver Recreation
Centre.
