It’s easy to be a good house-guest when you're on familiar turf. My Mom expects me to do all the things I did when I lived at home, except be a brat. So, I cook all the meals, drive her car and do the shopping. She _ steps right back 25 years and follows me around the _ kitchen, wiping counters and scrubbing © pots. Mom hates to cook and I hate to scrub - we make a- helluva team. Frankly, being a. houseguest isn’t easy. With most casual friends, I prefer staying in a hotel, visiting for a day and getting on my way. There’s not a whole lot of people I like well enough to want to meet them on the way to the bathroom in the morning. I hope I'm a_ good houseguest for those few e that get blessed with me from time to time.
