Adventure operators join forces

TWO OF Canada's adventure
Operators, Passages Expediticns
and Worldwide Quest Interna-
tional, have joined forces to form
a new company called Passages
Cultural Journeys.

This all-Canadian company,
operated by Worldwide Quest In-
ternational, will draw on its ex-
tensive connections in the interna-
tional adventure travel market to
organize and promote a complete
program of low-cost, small group,
cultural journeys to Southeast
Asia.

group ‘adventure tours to
Southeast Asia for the past de-
cade, stated, ‘‘! am delighted to

pertise in Southeast Asia to create

Passages Cultural Journeys is
already in operation and now of-
fers over a dozen Southeast Asian
tours.

The trips include the culture and
history of Vietnam, the ethnic
mosaic of Indonesia, the en-

chanted, Buddhist kingdom of -

Thailand, and the fascinating trib-
al groups and undisturbed rain-
forests of Malaysia.
