Khanh Hoa. There you’ li find
the beef. All types of it. In

Along with pork, it’s the
ingredient of choice in Dien
Nguyen’s new Vietnamese
soup and noodle kitchen.

New might be stretching
things a little.

The Vietnamese soup and
noodle part is new; the
restaurant itself is not.

It’s the same circa 1961

seemed like the better part of

The Pho Khanh’s menu is
broken into four main cate-
gories:

Vietnamese Beef Noodle
Soup, Rice, Side Order and
Vermicelli.

No dish in any of the four
categories will run you more
than $9 and most are below
$7.

Category one carties the
restaurant's signature dish:
beef noodle soup. It packs all
the antidote you need fora
damp North Shore evening:
hearty beef broth thick with
rice noodles and slices of beef.
