Assistant Engineering Services Technician to perform techai-
cal and inspection work involved in the coordination of con-

B struction and muintenance projects and to ensure the work

meets standards, specifications, schedules and budget. You
will be responsible for managing a variety of projects as they
relate to public works and fleet operations: analyze budget
information; prepare cost estimates: recommend payments
and provide field assistance for inspectors. Your work will
also involve extensive dealings with the public. District
departments, staff and contractors.

You are a self starter with excellent customer service, project
management and analytical skills. You have a background in
writing technical reports, using computers including excel and
MIS and a knowledge of GES is an asset. Your several years of
related technical experience will include dealing with envi

§ ronmental issues around air pollution and vehicle emission

elfiviencies and have been guincd preferably in municipal
operations. Required education includes training fram a tech-
nical institute with related courses in public works, civil engi-
heering and computer technology. A personal vehicle is
required with a mileage allowance paid.

_ Annual salary: $34,535 - $40,621 based on a 37.5 hour work .
