Employee celebrates 25
years with McDonalds

North Vancouver's James
Watson was given a surprise cele-
bration in honor of his 25 years as
a MeDonald’s restaurant employee
on Friday, Aug. 12.

Watson is the daytime
Maintenance Chief of the
Boundary restaurant, where he
began his career in 1969. The sur=
prise party was attended by
Watson's wife, Marliyn, and chil-
dren, as well as Ron Marcoux,
president and CEO of McDonald's
Western Canada, among other
members of senior operations man-
agement.

Watson was presented with an
anniversary cake, presents for him-
self and his family, and a 25th
anniversary diamond — ring.
Watson's anniversary made itn
one of only seven MeDonald’s
20,000 employees in Western
Canada to reach that milestone.
