The teara’s computer exper, Jim
Mutrie, works at Jones Kwong Kishi,
Consulting Engineers, in North Van,
and lives in Lions Bay. And crew-
man Tony Gural lives here, too.

The team has been near the top of

the league this year atter a dismal
season last year that saw them miss
the play-offs, so to speak.

An ambitious schedule, combined
with a new, difficult to set-up race
car, made 1993 a year to forget,
Luckily, the team finally ran out of
bad luck after having every mechani-
cal calamity possible strike them,
and this year has been like a breath
of fresh air,

Their schedule, less extensive this
year, began in Long Beach,
California with an encouraging sixth
place finish. They duplicated that
result in June at the Canadian Grand

improve, and the racing luck goes
their way, you just never know...

Gilles Villenvuve dominated the
Series on his way up to Formula
One, through the “80s and emerging
stars like Michael Andretti and Scott
Goodyear, and into the ‘90s and rac-

double-overhead-cam, four-cylinder
