Another little black dress?

Opt for one in an opulent but easy-to-build-on color

have to wear basic black. Not
every woman looks her best in
a black dress.

adaptability of a straight, simple
dress in an opulent, but casy-to-

build-on color.

Consider rich chocolate, deep
green or burgundy which, like
black, will never go out of style and
are classic enough to be worn for
any occasion,

Fine wool crepe offers the most
versatility, but an evening fabric
also shown for day, such as velvet,
will work well.

Accessorize with gold to bring
out its dressiest personality.

Try gilded pumps, a gold-
trimmed bolero or a big, jewelled
choker. Or keep it simple with
sophisticated earrings, a shoulder
scarf, a suit jacket or a classic belt.
