The composition swirls around the model’s body and face, creating a “vinetree effect,” and rises above the head where the ends are capped with red “flower buds” that light up with the help of a battery-driven power pack hidden at the back of the head, in the model's own hair. Mitha also placed first in the “Ladies’ Visual Cut” category at the Vancouver Regional “Preparing for the Year 2000” show, sponsored by the Hairdressers’ Association of . 5 B.C., and held at the Atrium Inn in Vancouver on Nov. 28..Yuri Lieu, also of Hatz, placed second in the same competition.
