That is what we Canadians expect and until recent years, that is what we got. Now, a growing number of Management employees appear to be not only in- capable of providing home delivery, but also give the impression that if they were able, they would, never- theless, be unwilling to do so. John Fellows, a general manager in the corpora- tion, stated in a letter to North Vancouver District Council the intention of the corporation to respect the views of council. He then demonstrated complete disrespect by ignoring council’s wishes and in fact in- sisted that contrary to them, the district residents will remain on general delivery or green box service. Technologically, Canada is still ene of the most advanced nations on earth. ‘There can be no valid justification for a deterioration in our postal service, or any other service and we must nat tolerate it. As with any other employees who are incomperent or who refuse to do their jobs, employees at the management level in the post office who ar2 prepared to accept lower standards of service to the peaple, or who ure actively engaged in producing an inferior product, should be fired to make way for the employees who are prepared to provide the home delivery service we demand. Anything less is a serious disservice to Canadian people and our way of life.
