& failing to report to a proba-
tion officer on March 7, 1995,
Smith was required to per-

work service,

Umberto George Dannetta,
28, of North Vancouver, was
jailed 14 days and received 12
months’ probation after he
‘pleaded guilty to assaulting a
“woman on March 9 in North
Vancouver District.
~. John Allen Smith, 52, of
North Vancouver, received six
months’. probation after he
pleaded guilty to assaulting a
woman on April 15 in North

John Kootsra 46, of West
Vancouver, was fined $1,000
after he pleaded guilty to fail-
ing to file his 1991 tax return
by July 31, 1995, as requested.

Nathan Baker, 25, of
Coquitlam, was fined $300
and had his driver's licence
suspended for three months
after he pleaded guilty to dri-
ving in Lower Lonsdale City
without due care and attention
on July 15, 1995.

Liviu Popovici, 42, of
North Vancouv. ., received 18
months’ probation after he
was found guilty of breaching
probation by failing to take
counselling as directed by a
probation officer in 1995.
